I'm really only a shadow of my former self. :( I guess I'm getting old and somewhat more sensible. Or more likely: I'm getting cheaper.

I'm mostly trying to steer Myrdinn into the direction of the righteous student's path. Don't let them fool you, it's not about studying! If you can't pass without studying all year, you weren't meant to have a degree anyway. It's in the bible.

advice from a career student who averages around 60%. *cough*

I study if I feel I need to and my grades are great. Then again, I don't have a degree yet, either.

Until then, I think you need to stfu! :P  jk

But good point, I'm probably need the best person to take advice from. On the other hand, if it weren't for my first year, I would have been totally 1337. I don't think many ppl match my general work/result rate tbh. I think that the amount of ppl that scored better than me in my final year is something of, say, 15-20 ppl out of 60. So I'm cool with that. If I tried, I would have been top 5, at least. :)

No false modesty for me.

Yeah it's a bit like that, you just gotta weave your way through traffic and hope a bus doesn't run you down

Yeah if i get round to taking any decent pictures i guess i can put them up

And Myrddin freshers 'week' in York has been pretty mint so far, hqaven't seen you out yet though... Toffs on wednesday was awesome for a change.
Hah funny story really, we went on a bar crawl, just 4 of us, and we realised it was freshers week when we got harassed by some playboy bunnies. After that it turned out to be a bloody good night 8-)

What? Fresher's week has already started? The stuff I've already got tells me we start on the 10th of October and rooms are avalible from the 8th. Unfortunately for me is that because I'm taking Archaeology, it means that I have to trek all the way from the campus in Heslington to King's Manor which is in the middle of town. The good thing is that it is close to all the pubs, including the Evil Eye which was recommended to me as being very good and having most types of beer. Oh well, I'm going to have to learn.

cool...when you get totally 1337 at computer science, i'm gonna hire you. Got a beef with living in Belgium? We offer great health care, beer, legal dope, and sky-high taxes. :)

Evil eye?!? Absolute shite, they only do bottles... no beer on draught at all, it's pathetic
Go to the punch bowl, that's a real pub with guest ales, pub quiz and everything.

I have no idea what modules i'm taking yet, don't have to give a final decision til November :-p
