God what sort of teen angst college philosophy class thread did I end up in?

I'm gonna visit some peeps in London tonight, tomorrow and Monday, so I'll be off a few days. Not that it's really worth mentioning as I'll be back before you know it, but felt like sharing. Leaving for Brussels station in a few hours, should be in London at 19h (GMT). Then going back Monday afternoon (around 16 GMT) so yeah, not exactly an extended vacation. Cu bitches soon! Let's hope some nutjob doesn't get it in his head to start blowing shit up while I'm there.

Haha, you know I actually went "wait that guy looks like Derf...wtf" at one point. But I only arrived in London at 19h GMT so I suppose you'd already left by then.

Had a great time, met up with some friends and didn't do much really except for eat, talk and drink. Didn't really see much of the city or visit any museums. Oh and one of my friends gave me a massive bruise on my left arm. She's a tiny woman and a tomboy, and I'd told her that 'it didn't hurt at all' when she was giving me friendly punches/pinches, after which she knuckle-git my arm three times with all her strength. Result: lovely black/blue/red bruise of epic proportions that's starting to turn yellow. It's a fascinating spectacle.

I should make more of these small trips really. I seem to have friends in almost all major European cities so I could combine general sightseeing with social calls. It's really cheap if you book well in advance to go to Paris, London, Amsterdam, Germany, etc. And fast if you take the high-speed trains.

One thing I will say, even though I love the Eurostar (comfortable, fast, city centre to city centre), the fact that there are airport-like border controls (metal detectors, x-ray scanners, etc) for it is a fucking bitch. It stresses me out to no end.

I might go to Amsterdam in March to watch a kickboxing tourny. Satis & Shiny are in Europe in March aren't they?

Yea, we're in Europe March 18-24th. when you're tourney? At this point we're planning on being in Amsterdam on the 20th.
