Lol. I think it's a sign of stupidity. People fail to apply some logic and philosophical view on their lives, ultimately deteriorating their life quality. I never run for trains, buses or trams either. If I miss one, i'll take the next. No need to get worked up over it.

Another thing: people who're moaning and bitching and sighing about a train being late or slow, or drivers who get worked up because things aren't moving. Well, guess what, there's nothing you can do about it, so chill the fuck out. I was on the Eurostar a while ago, which (for our American friends) is te high-speed train that travels from Brussels and Paris to London through the Chunnel that connects the UK with the mainland. Once it's left Brussels, it only has on stop in Lille, in Northern France, before arriving in London. Rest of the line it just rides non-stop since no other trains use the Chunnel. Yet, there were people who were constantly sighing "meeh"-style. Like it wasn't going fast enough for them. Wtf?

people are just generally impatient. I get annoyed driving regularly, even though in reality I'm looking at a difference of a few minutes at most... plus I'm usually going to work, so who gives a shit if I'm late... but I just love cursing at people. :P

Yeah just before Christmas we were all waiting to get on the bus home from work and some stupid woman started having a go from behind me to the woman at the front of the queue because she wasn't getting on the bus yet due to someone with a pushchair getting off. What the hell?! It annoys me when people crowd round the door from the station as soon as a bus pulls up as well, then gawk at those getting off as if wondering how they dare to need space to disembark.

I'm with you on not running for buses/trains Ox, at least down here. My one for work for example runs every 6 minutes during the day and I'm usually 30 minutes early so it doesn't matter if I miss it. It gets annoying on an evening if we're late out as after 7 it's every half hour, or after half 6 on a Saturday but I deal with it. Different in Yorkshire though. Bus/train each way is only every hour so you bet I'll bloody well run for those, particularly as each journey takes at least half an hour if not more!
