As usual, my Christmas loot is a little less impressive than most of you here...I swear, do prices drop 70% with christmas in the Anglosaxon world or something!? Either that or you're all very rich. :P

Main loot: a vacuum cleaner (smallish) from my parents

Other:

- a board game (brother)
- a day trip of choice (other brother)
- 25 € gift card for electronics store (godmother)
- a few other small bits and bobs.

I actually made some really sweet deals AFTER the 'big' family party, where I skimmed off a lot of unused food and booze at a sweet price. I got

- 2 large bottles of Chimay Réserve
- bottle of Cava
- butter
- two cans of sardines
- 6 packs of orange juice
- 500g of melting chocolate
- left over food and soup
- a jar of pickles

That should all get me through the weekend.

Jesus man... do you live in a shack? Do you work at the wharf packing tuna? That sounds like the christmas list of a hood rat.

lmao poor ox. I think we should adopt him next year and get him goodies! Lots of beer, booze, chocolate, yummy smelling stuff and games.

As for after meal goodies, I try not to take home the left overs. Some people have parents that don't understand no though. Satis' parents tried to send me home with leftovers of cookies, banana bread, brownies, etc. that I baked and brought to them. I had to explain that I baked those for them and have plenty more at my house. They still made me bring home the veggie burgers, etc. but that almost makes sense since they were bought for me. I was glad to have those since I got fuby that night and needed the munchies before the night was over.

But seriously, although I dig my loot, I just like to chill with people and for the most part shop for people. I love when you get that awesome idea for a present for someone.

Keep in mind with my loot that I spent about $1500 on presents for Satis, my family and a few friends, so I am giving more than receiving.

Oh and to add to the list I received another gift card to a great steakhouse in the area from my brother (satis got one to, for a total of $100.00 this year). Good thing is they do have food I can eat being a pescatarian and all.

hahaha...actually, I live in something like a loft apartment, only a small one. Which is still way too expensive compared to anything in the US I'm sure. I just don't have the necessary kitchen applications to do any real cooking so I keep to things that don't perish easily.

Shiny, 1500 dollars? Dang!! Wish I had you for a sister/friend/daughter  I spent maybe 300 € in all on Christmas. But then I don't have a gf so that helps.
