Lets come back to this because an issue was raised to me a little while back suggesting possible measures and personal ideological alignment. This may end up being a slight rant.

I am interested to see exactly who is most responsible for carbon emissions because i think the best way to tackle a problem is to address its most significant issues first.

This looks worrying to me because it assumes western civilisation will discipline itself. I'm not convinced it will yet. Also notice that there is NO overall decline, so acording to this, by 2100 we should be totally screwed. In any case, China is a big contributor.

Here we see an example of the main applications, with some info about types. Note that the main contributors are utilities, transportation and industrial. However, I think these are US figures, not Chinese. So I want to kind of clarify further which nations are the current most considerable contribors. Unfortunately, I dont have time to look into this, so ill draw a premature conclusion that is obvious, but finally clarified for myself.

Firstly, China, the EU and USA need to invest heavily in fuel research, combustion technology and utility efficiency re-engineering. Secondly, they need to revolutionise their transportation culture and infrastructure. Thirdly, constant severe industrial legislation must be created to impose a higher standard of environmental production regarding production practices, and product functionality.

Well let start with telling how many they are in comparison to the others. In example I'm quite sure it is chineses > 4x americans.

China will be a big contributor no matter what since:

- there's a freaking whole lot of chinese people

- china is still in (major and rapid) development, while US and EU are more or less fully industrialized (eastern european exceptions).
