abortion causes a drop in crime
heh...ok...anyway, I found this a very interesting article. It does cover how Roe vs Wade caused an unexpected drop in crime in the early 90s. Even if you don't agree with it, it's interesting.

Wow, that was a good article. At first I thought it was going to be a soapbox about why abortion should be legal but when you get to the end it more a soap box for people living like they did morally in the 50's.
He makes a great point that abortion is just another name for Eugenics, which it is.

Yes interesting reading but
To the author: No Shit Sherlock
I mean basically we already know what he sais we just dont want to acknowledge it because not knowing makes it easier to get by.
About abortion, i can see the point but there could be a different reason to it. Whenever there is a rising trend to something then a low period will soon follow as in life it tends to be. Mebe that generation started to respect different values or something. Anyway eventhough i understand what he means i still find that there could be alternative reasons to it.

I have a question for you guys and gals.
Ok so the article states that crime rates dropped because babies where being aborted that would have potentially been criminals.
So
For you pro-abortion people out there that think this is good.
Then you should think capital punishment is ok as well.
Technically killing them when they are in the wound or killing them 20 years later is the same thing.
Right?
And whats more important is, when we kill them 20 year later, at least then they have been accused of a crime, brought before a jury of peers, and sentence to death by a judge.
In abortion, they get none of that.
You know what that sounds like ? The movie Minority Report.

I don't believe in abortion in that sense. I believe its better than bringing a kid into the world to live in poverty though. But then it would be better to do like animals. Castrate everyone. At least just tie our tubes up until you can afford to look after a kid.
Now I hate kids anyway. But if i liked them and wanted one, I think I'd feel far less guilty as a mum if I 'killed' it before birth because I knew it wouldn't have enough food/love/whatever, than if I brought it into the world in poverty. In the same way, although I'd love to breed any dogs I had to get the cute lil puppies, I'll actually probably never have an uncastrated dog, because either I couldn't look after an entire litter for their full life, or I'd have to sell them... and god knows what conditions they could end up in.

It's a lose lose situation no matter how you look at it. I believe everyone deserves a chance with an exception being africa. Instead of food, red cross should drop big boxes of condoms
I mean whats the point of giving birth if the child dies in 4 years from lack of food.

What's the point of a church that says birth control is against god? *cough*Catholic Church*cough*. Now look at the teeming masses of stupid humanity in central/south America, and you see exactly what good the Catholic church has wrought.
Maybe we should just sterilize people. Like let everyone have 1 kid, but once you hit 2, if you don't make so much money (adjusted for cost of living and inflation and whatnot) then you get sterilized.
Then again, I think people with low IQs should be sterilized anyway. The more stupid the person, the more kids they have, or so it seems. And of course, genetics argues that stupid parents have stupid kids.

Castrate the chavs!
Let's face it, council estate mums are like frigging rabbits. They always have a pushchair with about 30 kids hanging onto it. Damned things.
